You are invited to a private dinner with author and educator Jennifer Finney Boylan.

The dinner will be hosted by Ruth Messinger and Andrew Lachman at their Central Park West home on Tuesday, February 28th at 7:30pm.

Jennifer will discuss her new novel, Long Black Veil—a literary thriller and dark tale of mystery and revelation that also explores the meaning of identity, loyalty, and love. This novel is slated for publication on April 11th, 2017, and guests will receive a galley edition in advance of the dinner.

Praise for The Long Black Veil: “Boylan has crafted a thriller that’s intellectual, existential, and compulsively readable. If change is the only constant in life, how much can a person reinvent himself and still be the same? Long after the last page is turned, you will be thinking about the nature of identity, the pull of the past, and whether you can ever outrun the person you used to be.”—Jodi Picoult

Jennifer Finney Boylan is the author of fifteen books. She is the inaugural Anna Quindlen Writer in Residence at Barnard College of Columbia University. She also serves as the national co-chair of the Board of Directors of GLAAD, the media advocacy group for LGBT people worldwide.

Seating at this dinner is limited and available by making a donation to PEN America.
